Ortiz only tried to get decisions against wrestlers (who couldn't threaten him with superior boxing), by winning the first rounds, and trying not to lose the third round too badly, since he doesn't have the stamina to fight three rounds. That's why he lost all those decisions. He would only fight Evans, Machida (who had only won by decision), Griffin, Hammil, and so on. He avoided Nogueira, and would also refuse to fight Jackson, who would knock him out.

The same is true of Fedor. He got beat up last time, but he has never been hit hard enough to go limp, so hopefully he's still in good condition. Say what you want about him, but he's a great fighter to watch.

That is very true. Tito has lost all his fights to a decision. No one knocked out Titio , no one really Hurt tito. It was all points , but at the same time if you look at the skill levels of these guys , Big Nog has been knocked out but look at the opponents his fought. look at the ways he won , Tito fought good opponents but not good as Nog's. And the way Nog defeated was almost always by a submission. Tito like most wrestlers just decisions.
