- Nick Diaz misses mandatory press conference, resulting in cancelling the biggest money-making fight in UFC welterweight history against GSP
- BJ Penn, one of the biggest stars in the UFC and close personal friend of Dana, retires after the Diaz fight
- GSP, currently the biggest paperview draw in the UFC tears his ACL and is out of action for almost an entire year
December 2011
- Brock Lesnar, the SECOND biggest paperview draw in the UFC retires after losing to Overeem
February 2012
- Nick Diaz loses to Condit, screwing up any new chance of GSP vs. Diaz (which would now be a HUGE money-making fight!)
- Nick Diaz retires immediately after the fight, pissing off Dana White
- Nick Diaz tests positive for marijuana and is facing suspension for up to 1 year, REALLY pissing off Dana White
April 2012
- Alistair Overeem, world champion in 3 different organizations at the same time (DREAM, K-1, Strikeforce) and new superstar in the UFC, tests positive for elevated TRT products and is out of the fight against Junior dos Santos, another big moneymaking fight out of the picture, possibly for good.

Dana White has had an awesome 6 months

He can always go home and curl up with a pile of money on his bed and cry I guess... It's true though, money doesn't make you happy, it's more that it makes you unhappy when you don't have enough. Mo Money, Mo problemz :P

I normally don't feel bad for Dana about ANYthing, but in this case, Overeem really screwed him but good. I completely understand Dana's rage over this. I guess Overeem really IS that stupid. Oh, and of course, the fans get screwed the worst!
