@dfghjksdcvfg " why Judo and forms of kickboxing became more popular than judo" typo: meant to say "why Judo and forms of kickboxing became more popular than jiujitsu and karate

All of the top ufc fighters come from the same basic camps. These camps ALL utilizes the foremost experts in their particular martial arts, and you don't get bigger than 8th dan black belt Aiki Jiu Jitsu (Aikido).
there IS a reason why these top fighters listen to Segal's every word. It's no accident, kids.

@MATT FYI its the atheletic commission's job to determine what is too lethal and what isn't for MMA. Thats why they have all these rules. The the fighter's job to do the most damage with abiding those rules. Martial arts was designed to hurt people. If you think this is too brutal your watching the wrong sport
|
@ GreedyGuy FYI The UFC imposes its own rules which are all posted on the web site, not the athletic commission !

Honestly! Wether these moves work or not, he should not be teaching "lethal" moves... I know MMA is potentially lethal, but this is absurd! WHy would you intetionally hit high risk lethal spots like the neck?

That kick should be illegal. They teach you that in Tae Kwon Do as well, but they ban it in competition because it causes too much damage. You can literally kill someone with it.

Blah Blah Blah Blah. All you nut hugging Segal fans go watch Under Siege or some other of his crappy work. True mma has no room for clings ons like him. He shows up to the party late, meaning after MMA has become popular and tries to take credit. Where was Segal back in the early days of MMA?
|
Back in the early days? He was in Osaka teaching Aikido in the top school in the world, HIS !.....Douche bag !
