Any ACCOMPLISHED mma fighter that is a good striker has a good ground game to back that up believe that. Liddel was Division II college all-american wrestler plus an outstanding striker. He could keep fights standing through his wrestling take-down defense. Pure strikers aren't use to keeping that distance to keep from being taken down because it's not part of their sport.. They are use to the referee stepping in to seperate them every time they clinch. Pure strikers have to completely re-learn that when stepping into mma. The balance, movement, and weight shift are all completely different . I know this because I was golden gloves boxer for 5 years and tried to compete in mma. Knocked my first guy out and lost 7 strait before I quit.. All 7 of those guys either submitted me, or just held me down and layed on me. Nobody would stand with me. Mma is suited for grapplers and wrestlers no question about that. Just look at the numbers of pure strikers compared to pure jiu jitsu and wrestling guys.

Daley a top level (world) mma fighter? Decide for yourself. Daley has a mma record of 10 wins and 4 losses. All losses have come on the ground.He hasn't beaten one single ranked fighter. He lost to the following un-heard of nobodys in mma; Florentim Amorim (2-1 record), James Nicolle (7-2), Luis Azeredo (15-10). These are 3 out of his 4 losses. These losses on Daley's record have a combined total of 42 wins with 24 losses. None of these fighters that have beaten Daley have wins or even losses to any fighter that any of us have ever heard of. That's not a top level fighter buddy. Daley should be kickboxing instead of fighting mma where he has no business being. He will never be a champion in any organization.

Just because he is not American does not mean he is not a black guy. I understand what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure he's not 100% brazillian. He probably has family from Africa or somewhere else. Going by that he's Afro-brazillian.

Anderson is native Brazillian. Like those tribals that used to live in the rainforest. Actually I think some still do. But anyways that's why his skin is so dark.
