To me, woman fights are just as normal as men fights. Just like for boxing, martial arts and "cocky" sports, it will just take some time before anyone agrees, yeah, woman can do as good as men and it's not choking. I mean, someone here is shocked that woman compete in judo, karate, boxe ? So...
That was a great fight and a great main event. Grats to Rousey (she impressed me and proved she's not just good at armbar but she can stand pressure and win). Now i want Ronda vs Carano or Cyborg

Not fan of woman fighting. Nothing feminine in there. Besides, why would she embarrasses UFC if her boob pop out during the fight?

to tell you the truth when i first watched women's mma, i had my doubts but i have to say that after watching a few fights these women are impressive. this was a great fight and worthy of headlining the show, i know that Ronda and women's mma in general gets a lot of stick, i have seen comment on here referring to this fight as a side show! i disagree i think that Ronda and the women's division can only do good things for the business. i hope to see more of these girls soon this can only mean good things for the ufc as it introduces new fans to the sport. a lot of men look down at women's mma and i think its wrong, after all they are trained athletes who work the ass off and have the balls to get in the octagon. that deserves respect and i hope that these women can silence the critics after this showing, good stuff from both Ronda and Liz. i respect that Liz doesn't hide that she`s gay, i just wish some of the mma fans would get over the school yard stereotyping and just enjoy that there sport is branching out. im glad dana has finally seen scene and lets hope the poster girl for women's mma can attract new fans and make ufc even bigger.

What a great fight ! Guys, I'm so glad it happens this way : Ronda proved she was able to survive a fight (great move from Liz by the way) then she mastered on the ground, mounted and transition to an armbar. This is just incredible, everyone knows she'll head for it and whatever happens, she does (well, 7 times on 7 fights so far). This is a GREAT start for the woman chamionship and a great answer to those wondering about women in MMA.
