Dewd, looks like Lawler just gave up in round 3. Didn't defend that rear naked much. His best chance was round 1 when he had Jacare hurt, but then he jumped into his guard and Jacare got plenty of time to recover. After that, Souza tired him out and Lawler couldn't defend the takedowns. Game over.

There is not a single person in Strike force that can survive Jacare on the ground. To the guy that said you thought Lawlor would at least be able to fight him off on the ground... Do you know who Jacare is? We are not talking about a BJJ black belt. We are talking about arguably the best grappler of all time.

Severely disappointed in the performance of Robbie Lawler. I knew that he would have a considerable disadvantage if the fight went to the ground, but I was expecting him to be able to AT LEAST have the competenecy to fight Souza off. He made a mistake following Souza to the ground in the 1st. When you have someone hurt in the stand-up, KEEP IT STANDING UP!!! ( Brings me back to the Shane Carwin/Lesnar fight. Lol. )
