I see there are a lot of stupid and exaggerated comments on here, more than usual even.

I'd just like to say I have a bad feeling that Fedor is going to be matched against Bob Sapp or something like that at the New Year's Dream event. I think a much better fight would be a rematch against Werdum (I don't know if he's available to sign though).

I thought also when watching the fight that monson got payed to loose the fight. he did'nt throw one punch and fought like he was acting to fight stand up and take dows and keeping fedor down and his face was smiling when getting up and was not at all naturally embarashed about it.

fedor is a natural welter weight and monson a light weight. monson moved like an 68 year old. maybe fedor should fight a top 200 000 (000) opponent in the world or something next time.

not a great performance but he wasn't even hit once by monson throughout the three rounds

5 years ago, Monson would have lasted 30 seconds of the first round against Fedor.

@Gogoplata: What losers were in 2xADCC that made Monson its champ? Look at Monson's loss record...they're all either submissions or decisions. What kind of BJJ champ / ADCC champ gets submitted that many times? Kind of reminds me of the whiteboy that boxing promoters fed to Mike Tyson years ago to get Tyson a free "win" after getting whooped the prior fights.

mmajunkie - How can you say Jeff Monson has no ground game when hes a 2x ADCC champion?

Fedor could of beaten Monson in 1 second, and the haters would of still come out to laugh.
