there's an interview somewhere of stephan bonnar saying the only way he could beat anderson silva is if he had forest griffin to help and if they tied one of silva's arms up

Mismatches in a way are more interesting, in that you can actually see what a fighter is capable of. Even fights often devolve into a slow paced grind with a lot of holding and lack of movement, or tentative standup sparring without any serious advances toward anything decisive.
A GSP vs. Silva fight might be kinda boring, but this fight certainly isn't going to be. Bonnar is bigger and has never really been finished, and has fought this level of competition before, so I don't think he's outmatched enough for anyone to claim that it's excessively dangerous or inhumane (like say pitting a veteran UFC fighter against an amateur would be).

Man I love fights like this. It's a fantastic break from the intensity of chasing a belt. It's like being in a pennant race and going out and just playing sandlot ball. For the love of the game and all that. Love to watch Anderson, but I'm sure as hell hoping Bonnar can do something magical.

This fight reminds me of when they would throw a naked gladiator in the colosseum against a hungry lion. It will certainly be fun, especially for the lion.

Disagreed. Chael is the type of guy that talks as if he was someone, but in reialty is just a nobody searching for attention, the type of guy that knows he's not good enough to get out there and beat guys like Marquardt, Anderson and Wanderlei, unless he fills himself with steroids Chael is nothing but a joke, a clown, a comediant. He doesn't deserve to even stand beside the real fighters, the real men, who push themselfs, who respect and who win clean WAR AXE MURDERER!!
