No disrespect but if Mir is a legend how should we call Randy Couture, Fedor and Cro Cop?
In my opinion Frank Mir is a good fighter but he talks too much.
I hope he will get the rubber match against Brock so he can eat a bit more punches and shut up a little bit.

Nowadays anyone can be called a legend. And the funniest thing is that Mir himself seems to believe it.

@ Alex I consider Frank Mir to be a legend. He was fighting long before all these scrubby homos were wearing Tap Out shirts. He's very famous in the sport and has career longevity despite being ran over. He knew how to fight long before most of the fighters on the UFC roster and he's still young 31.

BlanketParty - I agree that he's a top fighter but if you call him a legend of the sport you are comparing him to people like Randy Couture and Fedor Emilianenko. He talks a lot and is very good on promoting himself. Very good fighter but he's miles away from being anything like Fedor or Couture. But I respect your opinion. Cheers.

I can't wait until UFC 130, Roy Nelson will show how over-rated this guy is. Mir talks about how good his ground game is, and I'm going to laugh when he gets submitted by a guy he calls out of shape and not as good as him on the ground.

Overeem's a beast but he might not do too well against top wrestlers. Mir brings an interesting point but we'll just have to wait to see it.

i wouldn't say Frank Mir is a legend, but I do say he helped define the sport for what it is today.

I like Frank Mir because he's a smart guy, about the whole Fedor situation he knows no one is perfect and loses eventually, look at GSP, he lost twice and he is one of the best P4P fighters in the world.

Frank is right on a lot of things in that video but hes dead wrong about himself being a top 5 heavyweight and a legend in this sport. Sorry frank, every time you fight someone in the top 5 you get DESTROYED.
