I wouldnt consider Vitor to be a legend and theyre never gonna fight. Andersons contract is running low and Vitor is too prone to injury and has a lot of trouble making weight and has never fought at 185. If they actually do make it to a weigh in Vitor misses weight almost a guarantee

actually vitor has fought at 185 with no trouble making weight like 3 times... he fought rich at a catch weight because rich was told his next fight would be at 205... rich had the trouble, look vitor up on wikipedia he knocked out terry martin and matt lindland at 185 in his last fights before rich

Vitor Belfort is one of the best boxers in MMA. He is one of the few that could actually step into a professional boxing ring and compete. Is ground game is pretty weak but should be a stand up fight.

lol didnt anderson say that he hasnt even confirmed this fight? Notice that theres no new footage of silva or any interviews, its all recycled. Vitor is the only one talking. I dont even think he deserves this shot, he should have at least ONE fight at 185 against a top contender, why not belfort vs okami?

this fight was confirmed by dana white on multiple occasions. belfort has been set to fight silva for almost 2 years but kept getting injured. it was going to be chael v anderson 2 and belfort v okami were set to fight for a title shot. remember that anderson silva got a title shot after a single fight against chris leben whos hardly even a contender. brock also got a title shot after losing ` fight andd then winning 1 afterwards. belfort is a legend who fell on hard times and then beat the former champ, rich franklin, in the first round, whereas it took silva 2 rounds on both occasions.

You can't compare Middleweight champ rich franklin at his peak to current rich franklin, his eggs have been scrambled, real bad. Chris leben was almost contender at the time Anderson destroyed him, and its still the only time he has ever been stopped, anderson didnt take a punch and landed 99% of his strikes. He finished rich franklin in the round 1 their first fight, and pretty much KO'ed him the first round the second time with a right hook but the bell rang, he dropped like a rag doll. The only reason it went to a second was because the bell rang, he was totally out on his feet the entire second round untill he was ko'ed again. I see why they are giving it to him because there isnt really anyone else, exept Okami. Who was promised the title shot. Brock didnt derserve a title shot either in my eyes but the heavyweight devision was a joke at the time. Anyway it makes for a good fight but I still cant see how he's earned it and I dont see him holding onto the title very long either if he wins. Thats if the fight even happens like you said its been set for 2 years.
