what is special with Rua???? u can find dozen of figther with this style of fight..... he was lucky this time ... u will see tht he cant keep the belt for the next fight ..

i was rooting for machida in this fight but lets be real for a second. Shogun is Back. That is for certain.
With that being said... Rua? Lucky? You don't get Lucky with Machida. He has never been beat let alone destroyed. Shogun showed us what it is all about. His Style is good for any situation.

Well I hope they have another rematch, Shogun did an awesome job. Im not any of their fan boys, there both great fighters. I thought Machida was winning the round thoe, but Shogun wouldnt let it go to the judges again. I feel bad for machida thoe, His life is fighting and the fact that he still lives and goes by the karate life style, Defeat is bad, and esp, if you get defeated like THAT on national TV with your eye bout to blow up is bad. When the fans saw his eye, they all what the woah and Machida knew thats why he looked down because He made his family look bad. Im not saying he did horrible to make them look stupid but the fact that you know, he cant really offord to lose because of his father and his own karate. Its like a gracie losing for the VERY FIRST TIME you know? it puts a shame for a little bit but machida will be back. Shogun o man you made me watch machida get owned up like that and it was little sad to see him just get pounded! but aewsome fight

Machida has not found the right solution to fight Rua. In this occasion Rua was stronger than Lyoto, but his punch hit the rear of Machida's ear...a litle bit lucky
however I am not happy to see a man jumping when the other is inconscious; In boxe normally I have seen more chivalry.

Guys show a little bit repect for Machida, I like both of them, they are both amazing fighters. Yes Shogan is back but so will Machida and they might even fight each other again( provided ofcourse Machida has to win a few fights) but who knows what the outcome of the third fight could be...
