ROBBED!!!!
WTF
Hendrix was getting wrecked ON THE TOP

Best way to ensure an american wins? put 2 in the cage together. good idea for the ufc to do this in order to keep them relavent in a sport increasingly foreigner/minority dominated i suppose.

It must be some mistake, condid was doing more landing-damage-work on ground, clearly more damage standing, pressing on feet, hendricks was escaping by takedowns and it was only thing which worked better maybe because condit never tried any takedown .. so it is very strange decision. DOES IT MEAN, THAT TAKEDOWN IS BEST THING EVER AND NOTHING ELSE MATTER? i SEE THEE APROACH LATELY IN UFC AND DONT LIKE IT AT ALL. IS THIS SOME KIND OF HIDDEN SUPPORT TO WRESTLING LOBBY?

ok take the guy down wins some fights but in this one he had to let condit up or be submitted. On their feet condit pummels him. so how is that a win for Hendricks?

he won because of all the takedowns, they score high in the eyes of a judge.

Sad to know take downs are part of scoring. It should be scored as a significant takedown where the takedown leads to an advantage by following it up with effective ground and pound. Hendricks took Condit down numerous times but did not gain significant advantage as Condit was superior in ground defense.. I thought Condit standup was just as superb as he was also able to connect not just heavy punches but effective kicks and knees

I think there's a world between GSP on top and Hendricks on top. The first one is always moving, pressuring, GnP'ing but Hendricks had his takedowns... and that's it. He was out taken by Condit while he was on top of him, I mean... man, seriously ! I love both Condit and Hendricks and I'm gald for Hendricks because I wanna see him facing GSP but I didn't feel either that Condit lost this fight. In a 5 rounds fight, I'm pretty sure it would have been more obvious that Condit wasn't in danger but Hendricks was.

Only way to beat Condit is to take him down. Can't stand with him GSP couldn't even stand with him so he went to the takedown.

That was an awesome fight! Condit had Johny constantly backed up standing and active while he was on top. Condit's guard is very dangerous and I love how he rolls out of the guard and goes for kimuras and leg locks. He's a hell of a smart fighter. While I was rooting for Carlos more, and don't agree with the judges scoring takedowns so much (especially when you don't do anything after the takedown), judges see when you're on top like that as a form of advantage. Based on those standards, Johny deserves the win... And I think it's clear we all want to see GSP vs Big Rig.

condit did land some good strikes but i would had given the striking to hendrix u guy obviously didnt see condit repeatedly get hit flush with the left hand and yes he did kick a few times to the head but hendricks blocked most of them also he kneed him like well say 6 times to the face but at least half hard to see didnt really land at all like the one when hendricks went right to a takedown it didnt even hit him so condit i dont think hit him as many clean shots as hendricks did also takedowns should be scored and hendricks had him backing up like the first 2 rounds and condit did not use his range at all but did land strikes on bottom so it was a close fight but hey condit was allowed to stop the takedown and he didnt the better man won that fight but condit definetly looked great but he did loose was not robbed maybe he should stop getting takendown and you guys should stop complaining about it

You have to admire Condit, what a battler. I dont think Hendricks would have knocked him out even with a unbroken hand. Condit morally won that fight. An excellent defence on the ground and submission attempts should negate the takedown points If takedowns score so highly then I am afraid this sport will become nothing but glorified wrestling. What is the point in gaining a dominant position if the other guy has the upper hand when your there? Points system is a joke, Condit was robbed.

Judges got the score right but then got confused and accidently awarded the decision to the wrong fighter.

I think it was scored correctly. It's not just takedowns, ring control plays a huge part of takedowns score. If you take someone down to their back, they have 0 ring control, while the person on top has the entire ring controlled.

I cannot and never will understand HOW or WHY the UFC always talks about finishing fights! But then turns around and scores more points for wrestling take downs??? HOW?? It makes less sense when take into consideration your taking down someone who wants you to take them down so they can twist your arm off! Wrestling takedowns server NO PURPOSE if you cant maneuver to a dominant position that has a clear advantage! Funny how the big striker had to resort to wrestling take downs. He knows he lost the fight. You know when a fighter looses and you seen it in Hendricks eyes he was beat on 3 different occasions during that fight. In addition WHY NOT 5 rounds if the fight is clearly to move up to the Championship Fight?? UFC Makes ZERO Sense! Obviously they wanted the Hendricks vs GSP matchup.
