Ok, I actually counted the leg kicks in this fight and scored it round per round. Definitely gave Rampage the first round 10 to 9. Forrest kept Rampage on the ground and utilized the ground game with transitions with no resistance, Forrest 10 to 8. Round three I gave to Forrest for the most use of leg kicks and head punches along with getting in the clinch with knees, Forrest 10 to 9. Round 4 I gave to Rampage for body shots, uppercuts to the head and good combinations, Rampage 10 to 9. Last round was hard to score, looking at blow for blow, I gave Forrest the round due to ending leg kicks, being able to sway out of the way from Rampage's right hooks and some middle knees to lock up the round, Round 5 went to Forrest 10 to 9. I counted the leg kicks that were not checked or backed away and 34 leg kicks landed on Rampage. The final score of this bout was 48-46 to Forrest, and I did this with the sound off as to not be persuaded by the commentary. I like both fighters, it's just Forrest had a plan and executed it.

I don´t see why Rampage lost the Fight. He clearly won the fight. Why did they give it to forrest?? He was set up. I don´t even see why Ramapage didn´t complain.

Great Fight!! Love both of these fighters. I say Rampage won that. Round 1 = Rampage Round 2= Forrest Round 3= Rampage Round 4 = Rampage Round 5 = Draw they dominated different bits of the round. Unianmous = Rampage but o well it was a war

How is it they can give this fight to forrest gump and let machida keep his title vs shogun??? I just dont understand why any one likes forrest. He won fans with his sluggish boxing and his long lasting endurance? Give me a break the point of the UFC is to find those special and rare skilled fighters that can compete at a very high level of combat. Sorry to say all those who are Gump fans should really go to your local doctors and get ur head checked!

Okay first off, Forrest Gump??? Really? At least make yourself look smart if your going to insult a fighter.
Second, they gave this fight to Forrest because unlike Shogun, leg kicks weren't the only thing that Forest did that actually hurt his opponent, and he didn't go for a takedown like six times and have all of them blocked.
Third, Forest won fans over because he managed to go from being an average fighter to being one of the top fighters in the division by beating Shogun (a guy who destroyed Quinton btw) and beat Jackson to become the champion. He won fans over because he puts in entertaining fights and unlike Tito Ortiz, he doesn't do the same thing in every single fight that he's in. If you honestly find it hard to understand that, then your the one who needs to go to your doctor and get your head checked, and also find out if you were ever dropped on your head as a baby.

Rampage shud hav kept his belt i gave it 3 rnds to 2 in rampage bt i cud see the 3th round mayb being split in which case rampage still shud hav won becoz u shud hav 2 beat the champ clearly 2 take the belt. rnd1=rampage rnd2=griffin rnd3=rampage rnd=4 rampage rnd5= griffin

That doesn't make any sense. Your saying that even if the third round was split or "a draw" then Rampage still should've won. Why??? While I do give Jackson rounds 1 and 4, it's no secret that Griffin completely dominated Jackson in the second round and I also give round 5 to Griffin. And here's the thing. The rounds that Jackson won weren't a result of him dominating Griffin. If it wasn't for Jackson landing that uppercut that knocked Forest down in the first round, he probably wouldn't have won that round, and round 4 was also extremely close and I think the way Jackson got out of the submission hold is what earned him that round. When Forest won round 2, the most Jackson even deserved in that round was 7. So lets say that Jackson wins round 3, and lets say he earned 9 in round 2, that's 48-47, but take away the two from Jackson and that's 47-46 with Forest winning it. So you can keep saying what rounds they won but that doesn't take away the fact that Forest still earned more points than Jackson.
And as far the praise "you have to beat the champ to take the belt" well lets see, Forest landed more strikes, dominated Jackson on the ground, was more aggressive and had Jackson in trouble more times. So it's clearly obvious that Forest beat Jackson in this fight.

Griifin won first two rounds, jackson won the third and killed forrest in the 4th,in the fifth then griffin narrowly wins, jackson was unlucky but forrest desvered to win and take home the belt

Forrest won this fight just because of the round 2

I think this was a draw, Forrest taking round 2 10-8.
