i wasn't a fan of bisping, but i always found his stuff outside of his fights entertaining. he has some funny interviews, but he impressed me with this fight. i have more respect for him now. now lets see how well he does as he climbs higher up the middleweight ladder.

If Bisping and Henderson were to have a rematch, Bisping would get destroyed. Clearly from this fight you can see how Bisping has not improved whatsoever; getting rocked in the first round, and dominated on the ground. Beginning of the second round he had no control over the striking resulting in his poor takedown attempt. Bisping was able to perform effective ground-and-pound after the takedown which changed the course of the fight; however, it detracted Bisping allowing Kang to escape. Bisping was able to capitalize on the striking after the ground-and-pound flurry, eventually leading to the mediocre TKO referee stoppage. Bisping has a long way to go especially if his background is in kickboxing, he has showed poor striking ability in his past two fights and has not improved after a devastating loss. I am not trying to hate on Bisping just giving my opinion on the last two performances I have witnessed.

it was inevitable that as soon as kang lost, people were going to discredit the win for bisping cause its "another can"
which is ridiculous considering kang is a pride veteran with a bjj blackbelt
if bisping were to fight hendo and beat him everyone would be right back on the bandwagon saying "yer but hendo was never all that great he is too old"

well bisping still didnt fix the problem denis dropped him with a short right the only difference was henderson loaded up on the punch that knocked bisping out.

I don't see what alot of people have against Bisping.
He's come from a straight kickboxing background in England (where it's not nearly as big as other parts of the world) and has won, more or less, using purely those skills up until now
You have to remember, wrestling isn't a standard sport in schools here, in fact, sports overall aren't funded well at all in the UK. I think this was a massive factor in the Evans fight loss, yet, from the fight I just watched; he's worked hard on this department and the results speak for themselves.
I had the chance to meet Michael Bisping last Christmas at a signing of UFC - Octagon in Central London, and he was a cool guy to talk to as well.
I'll admit I have a slight bias towards him, being London born myself, but in fairness he's done well to get where he is considering the difference in opportunities people in the UK have for MMA.

this is the first GOOD fighter kang as fought..look at who kang has fought...a bunch of no namers besides jason miller..bisping shouldnt even been cocky over this win.. i SERIOUSLY WISH bisping got his wish to fight hendo again in manchester so he could get his ass whooped again in his own backyard

And yet another idiot who knows nothing about MMA, Kang has fought Murilo Rua, Akohiro Gono, Yoshihiro Akiyama and Gegard Mousasi. All of these would destroy Bisping, and in the Akiyama and Gono fights he was doing exceptionally well until he got tagged, in the Mousasi fight he just made an amateur mistake. Im not hating on Bisping or anything I'm from the UK so I like to see him win fights, but just do your research next time
