Only people who buy into the Shields hype want to see him in the UFC. He is extremely over-rated. GSP would smash him into oblivion. Besides Shields is going to lose to Hendo before anything happens with his contract and after he gets destroyed by Hendo the UFC in all likelyhood will not sign him. Besides if the UFC did sign Shields he would not get a title shot right away and he will lose against almost anyone in the Welterweight division unless they give him a couple of cans his first few fights.

He was looking to counter, thats why he kept switching stances. Whitehead is fat and slow. he would never do that against a good striker.

ive sen his higlight reel; he leaves his head exposed more often than not. he keeps a low stance with his hands low because hes looking for the double leg takedown followed by a g&p. the problem is that he loose and sloppy with it. i keep hearing about him being able to take rampage and it just seems ridiculous to me. a good boxer with a wrestling backround could drop this guy. rampage is one the top 3 boxers in mma and hes not gonna just gonna get plowed down and g&p'd. advantage: RAMPAGE
