ok my 2 favorite fighters are GSP and Anderson Silva, been a GSP fan since i saw him my first time watching MMa and he beat Frank Trigg and an Anderson Silva fan from when i saw him in Rumble on The Rock, but GSP even tho he has amazing wrestling, wouldnt be a huge threat to Silva. Silva would pick him apart in the stand up and when it goes to the ground Silva would already be ahead on the cards and Silva has a legit black belt in BJJ and GSP has been submitted by a guy who isnt even a BJJ fighter, Matt Hughes. so yeah GSP would be a decent fight for Silva, but right now Silva is just way to good and well rounded

Haha alot of you guys dont sound too smart, first of all GSP did not lay on thiago for 5 rounds he was winning the stand up and when he took thiago down he fed elbow and punches straight to his face if youll let GSP elbow your face for 25 minutes go for it then tell me how he sucks, second if you actually knew your history wrestlers give Anderson Silva the most trouble Travis luter, Nate marquarte, and Dan henderson all took silva down and dan henderson is the only person to win a round over anderson and GSP has the best wrestling in mma so yes GSP would be a HUGE threat to Anderson Silva and im sure even Anderson would agree.

GSP is a smart fighter. Everytime he come in the octagon with a stragy. Pitbull may have the punch and the stengh but he just a one way fighter. GSP can wreslte, jiu jutsu, boxing, ground & pound, submission & take down... hes a complete fighter.

I like the agressive of Thiago Alves and i hate to see how he lost this fight! All St. Pierre did was laid on top of Alves for 5 rounds to win the fight, i honestly dont like the style of Goerge i would love to see him getting his ass kick by some 1 like Anderson Silva or Dan Henderson

heres some fights at 185 he could take!!

2. Nathan Marquardt

3. Vitor Belfort

4. Yushin Okami

5. Jorge Santiago

LOL!!! GSP can not and never will move up to 205. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. He's hesitant to move up to 185lbs. He should start off slow if he does. I don't believe it will be to his benefit to fight a Henderson (who should be ranked #2, follow by Marquardt, Belfort and Okami in that order), Marquardt or (especially) or an Anderson Silva. Maybe a fight with Akiyama would be good.

But he has not entirely cleaned out the division just yet. There's still Swick, Fitch (again) and now Paul Daley on his plate.
