can some one explain to me why the hell is so many people have so much confidence in Carwin. The only fighter of caliber that hes faced has been Gonzaga and the only reason he KOd him was because Gonzaga made a mistake.. Gonzaga was destroying him and Carwin got lucky.. Mir is going to tap him in the 2nd. my guess..

First of all, Gonzaga was not destroying him, he was beating him. Second, all fighters make mistakes. Carwin made a few mistakes in the first minutes and it didn't stop him. And people have confidence in him because no matter who you fight it is not an easy feat to have beaten all your opponents in the first round. And by the way you guessed wrong. Way Wrong.

Carwin has the same background as Lesnar or any other UFC fighter. Not only that, but he has a degree and a REAL job. The UFC he describes as his "side job." And now that you've stated Mir will make him tap... Mir lost that one, granted in twice the amount of time it usually takes him. Mir who beat Lesnar in their first encounter. Lesnar got a title shot at 3-1, he didn't deserve it anymore than Carwin does now. Only now Carwin's got 2 excellent wins under his belt, Mir and Gonzaga. Lesnar hasn't fought since July, 2009, mysteriously because he was "sick" and had to miss his defeat with Carwin that following November. Carwin since has been smacking people around as usual. And on top of that, Carwin's the same height, same weight, same reach, and has the same wrestling background as Lesnar... BUT, Carwin's got 2 glove sizes bigger and has KNOCKED OUT everyone he's fought!

If you knew what you where talking about instead of going by hear-say, Carwin has 4 wins by Guillotine Choke and 1 win by tap due to strike. so thats only 7 people he has KNOCKED OUT.

Carwin will beat Mir next week. no doubt about it. Frank said it himself. he is a "double threat". Just Like Cain. He can Throw hands. He Can Wrestle. Carwin will destroy brock lesnar on the feet. Brock has no stand up. he is a master craftsmen when it comes to wrestling. but if you were watching this fight. Carwin won't stay on the ground for long.
