And Thales Jiu Jitsu isn't ridiculously good like Demians. It's better then Andersons, for sure, but hes just a bit better then most black belts. Demians on the other hand is damn near perfect. Silva would need to keep his distance, because if Maia gets a hold of him, it's pretty much over. In my opinion, Maia can actually go undefeated throughout his mma career if he keeps this up.

As much as I love demian maia and his crazy BJJ, we've got to remember that Thales Leites failed on getting Anderson Silva to the ground, which was his only chance of winning the fight. And the way Anderson silva has beat EVERYONE in the standup. I think that Maia has to increase hes overall game. and he just got knocked out by Nate the great. But I hope maia will get back on track in his next fight, and then maybe work up to a title fight.
