why does everyone bash fedor we all know if there's anyone to blame besides dana is fedor's management. its like two chinese guys at the market trying to make a deal with each other. dana and fedor's management are stubborn little bitches who don't know how to compromise they both want every penny they ask for and will take nothing less. and EVERYBODY knows that the ufc's heavyweight division is lacking great talent! i mean lets be real you have carwin i mean who knows shit about carwin the scary thing is carwin might actually knock brock out right?! god dana you are so full of yourself and your organization you can't admit that sometimes great fighters aren't in the ufc. your top 5 contenders are frank who? who cant beat a real opponent. cheick kongo who cant do shit once it hits the mat. shane carwin who only beat one real opponent. cane velasquez who only has like 5 fights. and nogueira a 33 year old man whos nothing but a shell of his former self. and to top it all off your champ is a guy with only 4 wins!

Dana,,,,,,,,, if you want to give the world the best fight of the era. why don't you allow Brock to fight Fedor in another organization and not in the UFC? my opinion......, the issue is not that Fedor doesn't fight the best, is just that he's is not fightting in the UFC. but, if you want to give the fans a good fight just let brock fight out of the UFC....if you really care about the fans... cuz you're always saying that you wanna give the fans the best. DANA all he wants is the money he does not care about the fighters for shit.

FEDOR IS ESCAPING FROM THE UFC
Sorry to break it down for you people, but Dana White did accept to allow him participate in the Sambo tournaments, as it was stated by Fedor's manager and White himself. When the manager was confronted about why they still didn't accept the proposition (after all they wanted WAS GIVEN) they said something like "Dana White don't treat fighters like persons" we will remain in Strikeforce for now".
Being a fan of Fedor myself I've heard many times from him that the reason for which he fights is to avoid coming back to his old poor lifestyle ($_$), so it strikes me as VERY ODD that he first demanded a lot of things expecting negative responses, and then after (for his surprise) receiving positive responses he declines the contract.
What I honestly think is that Fedor wants to keep his number 1 title and press sensationalism for as much as he can, after all, that is what makes him richer and keeps him in the mouth of everyone, I sadly have no doubt, that therefore FEDOR IS ESCAPING FROM THE UFC.
And that's just my modest opinion.

What tylerrevo is saying is the 100% truth of the matter. The fact is that Fedor doesn't care about the money or his own fame or ranking. Fedor himself has never considered himself the best in the world and he has never cared about proving anything to anyone. The only thing he cares about is being allowed to fight in sambo and to have interesting fights against challenging opponents.
As for how good is Bret Rogers? How could anyone possibly know that right now, I tell you what if submits a Fedor that is looking really good I will say he is the best in the world but his ground game is a total unknown at this point. I mean so far all we have seen from Rogers is first round knockouts pretty much. The other point to make is that the UFC heavyweight division is not very impressive just like there isn't a single impressive fighter in TUF this year either. I mean the UFC heavyweight division has a champ that got his title shot after winning 2 fucking fights in his entire MMA career, UFC heavyweight division is a farce.

this is a response to colombo, the reason why fedor will not sign with the ufc is precisely the contract yeah he gets buttloads of money but he also cannot compete in his sambo tournaments in russia. which he has been competing in them for ages. the sambo tournaments are like a national pride for russians and is very important for fedor. His ufc contract would not permit him to compete in those tournaments. The ufc is a monopoly and doesn´t like their fighters to do anything else but fight or compete for them. They are greedy stingy and ruthless they do not care about fights or fighters as much as how much they can make from them. If dana and the ufc would let fedor compete in the sambo tournaments fedor would sign. Also monopolies on anything is never good we need diversity always and fedor not signing with the ufc allows for other organisations to grow and compete in mma when they have him their organisation gets more publicity. but i would like to see fedor smash the ufc heavyweights then bounce out.

Explain to me why Fedor didn't accept the UFC contract when everything he wanted was given and the money he would make was ridiculous. Explain to me why he didn't accept a BETTER CONTRACT than the one he's signed. Fedor is a great fighter, one of the best no doubt, but for some reason he is ESCAPING UFC, and if you think a little you will know what. He ran out of excuses when Dana White accepted all his demands...
