Good point DMRD! Also, the fact that Machida was more beat up than Rua in the first fight may have even been a significant factor in their second fight! And thankfully nobody really cares anymore about the controversy of the first fight what with the result of the second one, or as I like to say, 6th round KO!

i remember cecil peoples explaining his decision to give the win to machida over shogun in their first fight. something along the lines of "you can't finish a fight with leg kicks"... maybe he should watch this fight
