go google and see who fedor has fought and beat ... i'm also a Machida fan .. different weight class by the way .. Machida fights at 205 ... fedor fights at 225 so fights heavyweight division .. don't blame fedor for not coming to ufc .. he would bring huge numbers for a pay per view fight .. but like usual .. ufc in comparison to the draw the fighters are pays them very little and wants to have them sign to multiple fight contracts why would he want to be owned by ufc ..

This is one of my favorite things about mma, fedor fans. they will defend this guy to the grave and for what? Yea he has beaten lots of great fighters in his career and he would bring great ppv numbers but hes becoming quickly irrelevant due to the fact that he doesnt fight high level opponents and his last fights hes had terrible performances. Another thing is that the ufc has thrown huge contracts at this guy several times and they are never enough. He wants a partnership with the ufc which is way more than an aging fighter is worth and every organization gives their "promising" fighters multi-fight contracts so I dont even know why you would say that. Honestly though Machida has fought at heavyweight before and if they were to fight in his weight class I dont believe it would be that hard for Machida to run right through him. Fedors standup is so sloppy and he gets hit way too much, he would never be able to put a hand on Machida with one of those big looping overhand shots that hes been landing on mediocre fighters lately

You do know that Machida lost to Shogun right? Not once, but twice. Shogun himself said Fedor is the best in the world. Yeah, your opinion matters. LOL Fedor would quickly toss Machida to the mat and proceed to pound him. If not, he'd stand up with him and KO his ass. He has stood up against some of the best fighters in the world. Who has Machida fought?? Exactly. You know ZERO about MMA, just whatever UFC feeds you. Go download some more Anderson Silva highlights. Make sure you look up his losses as well!!

Im not an Anderson Silva fan at all and I do agree that shogun did beat machida both times but who has fedor beaten recently that is still relevant in the sport? Machida holds wins over rich franklin, bj penn, and shogun even if it was a disagreeable victory. Who has fedor beaten lately that stacks up to those names? Its easy to criticize especially when your facts are so out there like yours. When was the last time you saw fedor try to take anybody down and when was the last time he really dominated anybody like machida does? fedor isnt a very good striker and machida hardly ever gets hit and hes way faster than fedor not to mention how good his takedown defense is. Im not saying fedor isnt a great fighter but what has he done for the sport lately besides dodge the ufc? just another fedor fan who wont get off the bandwagon...

I simply recognize that a guy who has dominated his division for 10 years is the best fighter in the world. As for Machida's victories.. BJ Penn is a lightweight, Rich Franklin is a bum(and middleweight), and he didn't beat Shogun. Period. Back to Fedor.. I admit that Brett Rogers is not much of a fighter, but he was undefeated with 10 KO's coming into their fight. Any guy that big hits you as many times as he hit Fedor and your going to sleep. IMO Arlovski was last major comp he had in January of 09. It's not Fedor's fault, he fights whoever is put in front of him. He was supposed to fight Barnett(ranked 2 at the time), but Barnett backed out siting "he wasn't in top shape".. Affliction then fell apart. Arlovski left UFC on his own merit, was on a 5 fight win streak, and had EARNED a #2 or 3 ranking at the time(unlike Lesnar). He was considered the best striker in HW division at the time and Fedor beat him standing up. Sylvia was also ranked top 5 when they faced each other. Sylvia is considered a bum because a professional boxer known for his ko power ko'd him AFTER Fedor beat him up. Sylvia was dumb for trying to stand up with a pro boxer.
There are some good looking young fighters in UFC HW division, but it is far too early in their career to consider them great, MUCH LESS better than Fedor. Fedor has part ownership stake with M1. Fact is, M1 offered a co promotion deal. I heard they also offered a one fight deal. Dana doesn't want either. No co promote because UFC wants ALL profits and wants to control MMA market. They are trying to create a monopoly. That is not good for the fans. UFC is not on HBO because HBO wanted a piece of the pie. As for the one fight deal.. Dana said no because what happens when Fedor comes in, murders Lesnar and then leaves? That's right, Dana loses credibilty and so does UFC HW championship. Dana is just doing his job as a promoter. He will bash ANY fighter that will not sign with the UFC.

bj penn may be a lightweight but he is also one of the most talented fighters in mma still, rich franklin is not a bum i dont even know where you get off saying that, and no matter how much you dont like it machida does hold a win over shogun. tim sylvia was probably the last guy that fedor fought that he wasnt getting beaten by throughout the fight. brett rogers and arlovski were winning until they both got carelss and you cant even argue that. fedor needs to go up against the best guys to hold on to his rank which he isnt doing and a lot of people see him as dodging competition and why should the ufc give up their success to lesser organizations that are eventually going to collapse?
