"The Warmaster" has been paired off with a scary-looking Austrian named Nandor Guelmino for the Showtime-televised broadcast on Jan. 12, 2013, which emanates from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

MMA Fighting brought word of the booking earlier today.

Barnett (31-6) hasn't been seen since a five-round drubbing at the hands of Strikeforce Grand Prix Champion Daniel Cormier last May. With the demise of the San Jose-based promotion all but a foregone conclusion, it's time for the grappling wizard to leave a lasting impression before he hits the job market.
