Demian Maia showed much improved stand-up in his last fight against Mark Munoz, but wasn't able to come out on top with a win.

So he felt the pressure going into his fight at UFC 136 against Jorge Santiago to go out and win, and show just how well rounded he was.

Maia mixed his stand-up and his takedowns to put Santiago in uncomfortable positions all night long, and came away witha unanimous decision victory.

It was a tough debut fight for Ohio's own Stipe Miocic getting Joey Beltran at UFC 136, but he showed up in a big way, getting a unanimous decision victory.

Having never had a fight go out of the first two rounds, Miocic was actually happy that he got to grind out a full 15-minute win in his UFC debut.

Getting some good advice from training partners that had fought in the UFC previously, Miocic says he didn't feel much in the way of nerves, and just went out there and had his fight.
