In the main event Quinton "Rampage" Jackson won a unanimous decision over Matt Hamill, Frank Mir won a decision over Roy Nelson in the co-main event. Travis Browne knocked out Stefan Struve with a superman punch. An impressive feat against the 7 foot fighter, but Browne is also a 6 foot 7 heavyweight, and former college basketball player. This event was the UFC debut of Renan Barao, who won a decision over Cole Escovedo that night. Barao would win his next 6 fights in the UFC. In September 2013, Dana White said Barao is the 'closest thing' to Floyd Mayweather in the UFC. Fight of the Night at UFC 130 was Brian Stann's 2nd round TKO win over Jorge Santiago. Demetrious Johnson fought in his second UFC fight at UFC 130 when defeated Miguel Torres by decision. Demetrious was actually an underdog against Miguel in that fight.
