The original Australian Ultimate Fighter, and winner of TUF Smashes, Robert Whittaker chats to Submission Radio about his fight at UFC Fight Night 43: Te Huna vs Marquardt, or as it's known to the Kiwis, UFC Fight Nigh: New Zealand.
Robert talks about growing up and originally doing surfing in high school, before getting into Mixed Martial Arts, and how being an electrician would be much tougher for him than fighting in the UFC. Whittaker also weighs in on the lack of wrestling in Australian high schools, how it affected the Aussies in the most recent Ultimate Fighter season, and how all Olympic sports should be part of the Aussie school curriculum. After suffering two back to back losses against the very tough Court "The Crusher" McGee and Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, Robert talks about what he's been working on, in his ever improving MMA game.
