Two times in a row now with a title shot just within his grasp, Evans has suffered injuries that have put on on the sidelines and out of the championship contender status he earned. The latest forced Evans to turn down a fight with former teammate and current rival Jon Jones at UFC 140 in December. According to UFC President Dana White, Evans wants to stay busy and will look to take another fight when his injured hand is healed and ready to go.
