Open Guard Sweep Hook Ankles and Push

In this video we take a look at a very common Open Guard sweep that I call Hook The Ankles. I was originally taught to do this very differently than I do it now and I made the changes after running into problems, specifically with people who like to do ankle locks. The original way I was taught was to drop my hips directly underneath my opponent and push up with the back of my thighs. Not only did this lead to my opponents trapping my legs, it also orientated my heels for the dreaded Heel Hoo
