For most of his career, K.J. Noons has been gunning for a major title whether it was in boxing or MMA.
Noons however is the first to point out his mistakes and he's had so much focus and talk about titles in the past, that it served as a distraction ahead of the fight in front of him.
So for his upcoming bout with Josh Thomson in Strikeforce, while Noons admits the title is still important, he can't talk about that or worry about what's next because it all goes away if he doesn't win on Saturday night.
