In this video I show a very important skill for guard recovery and retention, the elbow push. I believe most advanced grapplers understand this concept and movement but very few can recall being taught how it works. There are a lot of nuances with this move and a lot of "feel". Obviously it takes a lot of practice to hit in a live setting but it is absolutely required to have this in your skill set.
