Anthony Pettis resumed training at the Jackson-Wink Gym in Alburquerque, and noted on his Instagram account that he's back to work and 145 is in the works. In February 2013, Pettis was in line to fight for the lightweight title, but made a decision not to wait and dropped down to 145 and fight Jose Aldo for the featherweight belt at UFC 163. The fight was booked but Pettis sustained a knee injury and was replaced by Chan Sung Jung.
