In the past I've never really been a fan of the Guillotine Choke (in the gi), but over the last year I've started finding it in positions that I never thought of. In this video I show the Guillotine Choke from Half Guard Reverse Sit. Typically it's easy to scoop the head when your opponent is on his/her side and it can be a real surprise. This event was strictly no gi, and involved continuous matches where competitors tried to catch as many submissions as possible on their opponents in five minutes. At the end of the preliminary rounds, where competitors had the opportunity to compete against everyone in their division, the people with the top four submission plus/minus score (Total subs - total times subbed), faced off in a playoff 'Golden Sub' format, where the first submission wins each match. This edition crowned the first ever female Zombie League champion as Tiffany Bayliss was victorious in the open weight, open rank tournament! These tournaments are tonnes of fun, great experience, and ever evolving. Be on the lookout for future contamination! Below are some highlights of the action. watch video >>
