Sparks delivered an outside leg kick to Prindle early and let his right hand drop below his chin. It was at this point that the former five-time All Army Boxing Champion dropped him with a swift left hook and followed him to the mat for two more punches before a referee stoppage. The win was ruled a knockout for Prindle and took just 40 seconds. watch video >>

Ron Sparks remained undefeated and advanced to the semifinals with a knockout win over Mark Holata in the first fight of the evening. Holata didn't shy away from the fight, trading punches with Sparks right away, but "The Monster" was able to stun him with a right hook early and on a later exchange dropped him to the canvas with a pair of left hooks to the jaw line. It was a big win for Sparks who is eager to show Bellator and the fans what he's capable of. watch video >>

Video on Deman on GFL.tv http://www.gfl.tv/event/Fight/MuayThai/Siam-Fight-Productions-Jr-Muay-Thai-Qualifiers/2263 Siam Fight Productions returned to GFL with "Jr Muay Thai Qualifieers" a stacked Muay Thai card featuring 16 bouts with the top up and coming strikers from around the globe. Hosted at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona this event brought down the house and proved that Muay Thai is one of the most exciting combat sports in the world. In the main event, Travis Clay (12-5-1) of Sitan Gym Chandler defeated David Candelaria (12-2-1) of Toronto via decision to win the 128 lb North American Title. This was a rematch where Clay had won in 2013 at the TBA Nationals and followed that performance up with another victory here with the title on the line. Clay's striking was too much as he outpointed Candelaria and hurt him several times in the fight with straight punches and kicks. Video on Demand on GFL.tv http://www.gfl.tv/event/Fight/MMA/Ring-of-Combat-XLVIII/2310 Ring of Combat returned to GFL with "Ring of Combat 48". This event had another stacked lineup, something Ring of Combat has become synonymous with, as 4 titles were on the line in a 9 bout card that featured 8 finishes from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. ROC continues to be the linchpin of East Coast MMA and this card reiterates its dominance as the top dog in the Tri-State area. In the main event, ROC Heavyweight Champion Brendan Barrett (10-5-1) defeated Justin Woods (4-1) via TKO in the second round. In the early going, Barrett and Woods were cautious to exchange as both men were weary of one another's punching power. The fight went to the mat where Woods showed off a nice escape and got a front face lock on Barrett as the two powerhouses continued to struggle for positional dominance inside the cage. Barrett one upped Woods as he put Woods on his back after that watch video >>
