Maybe Joe Rogan was being generous with his estimate. Ronda Rousey said on ESPN's SportsCenter on Thursday that she could defeat "100 percent" of UFC men's bantamweights given the right circumstances. Rogan, the UFC's color commentator, said earlier this week that he thought she might beat half of them. "I never say that I'm incapable of beating anybody, because I don't believe in putting limits on myself," Rousey said. "So I mean, I would have to say if you're just talking about what's in the r read news >>

As you may have read, UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently had some very lofty praise for women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. Prior to her Feb. 28 title defense to Cat Zingano at UFC 184, Rogan said he believed Rousey 'might beat 50 percent' of the men that make up the UFC's male bantamweight division. Well, as you might imagine, not everyone was thrilled with that take. Count UFC flyweight contender Ian McCall among them. Speaking with Rick Lee on Monday, McCall says he needs to have a ch read news >>
UFC lead analyst Joe Rogan not only sees women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey as a special athlete, he believes she could defeat half of the men's 135ers on the roster. There's traditional ways to call out an opponent, then there's the Norman Parke way. If your calls for a fight via Facebook and Twitter get you blocked, then do it the old fashioned way and write a letter. That's the approach Norman Parke has taken in his quest to go toe-to-toe against longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight contender, Joe Lauzon, after J-Lau banned the Irishman from his Twitter feed. You know, because he's not in high school. Not one to give up, Parke penned t read news >>
Ronda Rousey could defeat 50 percent of the fighters competing in the UFC men’s bantamweight division, according to UFC commentator Joe Rogan. Another brilliant performance from the UFC women’s bantamweight champ Saturday night has the UFC desperately searching for contenders to challenge the pound-for-pound queen. Cat Zingano became the latest victim of Rousey’s patented armbar just 14 seconds in the first round of the main event at UFC 184. Rousey’s past three title defenses have lasted one mi read news >>
In October, UFC commentator Joe Rogan said he'd have 'no problem' with Rousey, or any woman for that matter, fighting a man of equal weight. Speaking with ESPN's Dan Lebatard prior to UFC 184, Rogan may have upped the ante just a bit. Asked, essentially, how bad a professional male fighter would need to be for Rousey to beat him in a fight, Rogan says she'd be middle of the pack in the UFC's bantamweight division. "There's a lot of guys her size she could beat," said Rogan. "I mean, a lot. If yo read news >>
