The Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA) announced the suspensions Monday, and they were subsequently reported by MMAJunkie.com. The Nevada State Athletic Commission said that at least one competitor from UFC 143 has tested positive for a banned substance.
In an email sent today to MMAjunkie.com, NSAC
Executive Director Keith Kizer did not specify whether the positive test
was for drugs of abuse or performance-enhancing drugs but said a
release was forthcoming today.
"I am still waiting for all the steroid and drug test results to come back," Kizer stated.
