Five fighters, including main-card light-heavyweight opponents Glover
Teixeira and Fabio Maldonado, were issued medical suspensions of up to
180 days following this past weekend's UFC 153 event.
UFC 153 took place Oct. 13 at Rio de Janeiro's HSBC Arena.
With the lack of an athletic commission to govern the event, UFC
officials took the role of overseeing the fight card. They recently
released the suspensions to the Association of Boxing Commissions.
