Two top middleweight contenders will meet in December at UFC 155 when Chris Weidman takes on Tim Boetsch.
Multiple outlets, including foxsports.com and newsday.com, today reported that verbal agreements are in place. MMAjunkie.com subsequently confirmed it, and UFC executives have made it official.
The fight will be part of the main card of UFC 155, which takes place Dec. 29 in Las Vegas at a venue to be announced.

Less than five weeks before what could have been the biggest fight of his career, UFC middleweight contender Chris Weidman is out of a UFC 155 bout against Tim Boetsch.
Stepping in for him will be teammate Constantinos Philippou, who this past Saturday had a planned bout scrapped the day of the fight. MMAjunkie.com on Wednesday confirmed the news with sources close to the promotion.
