Rousimar Palhares added another quick submission to his record, but the fight once again ended with controversy. The World Series of Fighting welterweight champion, who needed 90 seconds to tap Jon Fitch in the main event of WSOF 16 in Sacramento Calif., on Dec. 13, might have injured Fitch with his nasty submission, but feels he did everything by the book. A quick look at some of the action from tonight's UFC on Fox card, headlined by Junior dos Santos' win over Stipe Miocic. Junior dos Santos looked like a shell of his once dominant self for the first two rounds of his UFC on Fox main event with Stipe Miocic. Miocic was able to control the action on the feet while JDS looked slow and ineffective. In round three it was a single punch that rocked Miocic and seemed to motivate JDS to get fully back in the fight. What we got tonight was the rare five read news >>

"The Nate Diaz thing is a completely different scenario. The guy is complaining about money, but he's done tons of things to ensure that he gets fined. He is complaining about the CM Punk deal. All he's been doing is complaining, not showing up for stuff, and now he doesn't make weight and he's four pounds over. I don't know what to do with him if he wins. There's a laundry list of problems there." Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White (via FOX Sports) doesn't yet know what t read news >>

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is making a quick turnaround after a fun night of fights in its home base of Las Vegas, Nevada, with its mixed martial arts (MMA) debut in Phoenix, Arizona. That's where UFC on FOX 13 will go down -- inside US Airways Arena to be exact -- a little later tonight (Dec. 13, 2014) in prime time. And considering it's free of charge, the line up is pretty damn sweet. Leading the charge is former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, who returns from a lengthy inj read news >>

A quick rundown of some of the action from the Ultimate Fighter Finale, including Carla Esparza's title win. Carla Esparza was the favorite when betting lines opened for her Ultimate Fighter Finale bout with Rose Namajunas but that changed, and by betting time Esparza was at even odds while Namajunas was a slight favorite to pick up the victory. I have to wonder if that wasn't the result of a little bit of wishful thinking. Rose is an easy woman to root for. She's got a great personality, she's read news >>

The UFC has booked another slew of fights over the last week. Here is a quick rundown of what they put together. Since the UFC has decided to produce 50+ events in 2014, there is a remarkable amount of fighter signings and new match-ups being set up throughout any given week. Many of these new signings are for match-ups that take place on the undercard, or on the Fight Pass portion of a PPV, so we are going to continue with a new weekly (or bi-weekly if needed) series of articles where we take a read news >>

LAS VEGAS - Todd Duffee waited nearly two years to make his return to the Octagon. From there, it was a mere matter of seconds before he delivered a Todd Duffee Special. Duffee (9-2) needed just 33 seconds to finish Anthony Hamilton in a heavyweight fight at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. In the fight's opening exchange, Duffee nailed Hamilton (13-4) with a big right hand to the temple. With that in mind, I'm going to take a brief look at the biggest fights and offer up some basic predictions on th read news >>

"It adds that extra level of professionalism. It takes it to the next level where it's not every guy out there hustling for this and that sponsor, and half of them are joke companies you've never really heard of. We become like major sports teams with that one sponsor. It cuts out a lot of the legwork, a lot of the hustling. You know you're getting X amount of money, so that's guaranteed money. You're not depended on maybe you get it, maybe you don't when you deal with sponsors. Guys like myself read news >>

"He's kind of like one of those guys that pretty much does everything for attention, you know. And if you look at his fights; I mean for one, Demetrious (Johnson) is a better fighter and that's what this comes down to. He's a better fighter. He beat everyone in the division, and it's just like, I don't know. He says he's [Demetrious] a dork and he has no personality, but like, I think the last thing the division needs is a champion nicknamed 'Uncle Creepy' that looks the way Ian McCall does, you read news >>
