After initial plans fell through, Gabi Garcia has a new MMA debut scheduled. A few months back, Gabi Gacia announced that she would be making her debut in MMA. The plan was to appear on Real 1 MMA's debut card, in Differ Ariake Arena alongside fellow BJJ ace and MMA debutee, Kron Gracie. Unfortunately, and apparently unbeknownst to Garcia, Real 1 was planning on booking her against 135 lb, 42-year old Megumi Yabushita, who has a long history of facing much much larger competition. BE's striking specialist Connor Ruebusch breaks down the strategy he'll need to execute to become the new featherweight champ. If you watched the Nevada Athletic Commission hearing on Tuesday you know that a press conference brawl does not add up to a slap on the wrist -- as some expected -- but more like a punch to the economical teeth.
