Former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman is wasting no time getting back to action.
After failing to reclaim her belt with a loss to Ronda Rousey on Aug. 18, the Canadian has been booked to fight Kaitlin Young at Invicta FC 3, officials today announced.
Kaufman, who's still under contract with Strikeforce, and Young initially were slated to fight at an EliteXC event in 2008 that later was canceled in the wake of the promotion's demise.

Former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman has pulled out of next month's Invicta 3 event due to an injury, officials today announced.
Her opponent, Kaitlin Young, now will rematch fellow bantamweight Leslie Smith instead. Additionally, Smith's original opponent, Kim Connor-Hamby, now will meet late replacement Raquel Pennington.
Both bouts are part of the night's main card.
