The former middleweight title challenger decided to drop a weight class after a 1-2 skid, but against Dong Hyun Kim, his 170-pound debut lasted just 47 seconds due to an apparent injury.
The main-card bout was part of Saturday's UFC 148 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.
