Today at 10 a.m. local time, Chael Sonnen weighed 195 pounds. Yesterday, he was 10 pounds heavier, and 20 pounds from the on-the-dot 185 he needs to be to fight champ Anderson Silva at UFC 148.
The middleweight title challenger looked a little nervous when he reported that figure during interviews on Thursday, one day before the event's official weigh-ins.
But the man who got him there wasn't, and he said today's number is exactly what it's supposed to be.

A title fight and rematch between UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and challenger Chael Sonnen apparently has been moved from UFC 147 in Brazil to UFC 148 in Las Vegas.
A press conference today in Rio de Janeiro announcing the change has been delayed an hour due to technical issues.
However, signage at the media event now shows a UFC 148 poster adorned with Silva and Sonnen's likeness and names.
