Dos Santos Vs.Velasquez II

Fights - UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on December 29, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Velasquez defeated Dos Santos in a dominating performance via a unanimous decision (50-45, 50-43, 50-44) to regain the UFC heavyweight title.
Velasquez becomes the first fighter in UFC history to post triple digits in significant strikes landed and double digits in takedowns landed in a single fight. Velasquez landed 111 significant strikes and 11 takedowns against dos Santos.
This marked the first time dos Santos had suffered a loss in the UFC.
