Hmmm... Guys who lost non-championship bouts made twice as much as what the champion defending his belt made. Makes perfect sense! :P

I understand why that's the way it works... But what bothers me more is that Henderson only made 78k. That's barely more than a bonus. Henderson looked really amazing out there. He's clearly one of the best fighters around, he's a great athlete. 78k is really not very much for all of the hard work and commitment he's put in over his career so far, especially considering he's the best and most fighters actually earn significantly less than that. I guess he probably makes a lot more than that in bonuses and through other means... But still.

I mean he probably earns more than that through endorsements, etc. not bonuses.

They make more when its a pay per view. It was free on fox
