I guess Frank Mir will probably be cut unless he still has more fights on his contract which the UFC owes him, OR if a lower pay can be negotiated, although, there's not very many heavyweights, so maybe they'll still need him, unlike most other divisions which are jam-packed with too many fighters at the moment.
I like Frank Mir, but he's got too many miles on him to compete at the highest level. He could still destroy most of the younger heavyweights with his massive skill and experience advantage, but the heavyweight division is the thinnest division as far as depth of skill and talent goes (except maybe the flyweight division).
