I don't blame the Spider. Both he and Jones are extrordinary talents and it would be madness for Silva to go up in weight and take the fight. It makes no sense. he would be on a hiding to nothing.

There's no shame in declining that opportunity. Bones is much larger. For some reason I think people are more critical of GSP for not having taken a fight with Anderson Silva yet, and if he doesn't take the fight soon, people will call George a coward. I'd love to see that fight too, but you can't fault someone who's already proven themselves from not wanting to take a fight against the best guy in the division above them.

There is every possibility! I think he is being a chicken to want to fight the much smaller GSP and not want to fight Jones who is slightly bigger. Silva knows Jones will win!

silva has beaten all the great ones, who is left for silva? Jones has beaten pretty much everyone in his division as well, whats next for him? is jones going to spend the next year defeating everyone he already defeated twice? Silva would destroy jones because jones is much more sloppy and silva has perfected every strike imaginable... Anderson is smart he would jones tire then counter his ass

anderson silva has proved himself to be the best i think any challengers should go to him its fair in my opinion

I think that Anderson Silva should be thinking about defending his belt, in his weight class, rather than concerning himself with a super fight. Chris Weidman is waiting for his well deserved title shot & anybody that thinks that Silva will just walk through this kid better think again. If anyone will take Silva's title before he retires I think it'll be Weidman; that is as soon as Silva quits dodging him. As for Jones, why not fight the top contenders in his weight class, whether he's already beaten them or not? GSP has fought a lot of the guys in his weight class twice. But first, I hope Hendo gets his shot at the title. Peace.
