Newsflash, freedom of speech is not absolute. What you might think is your justified opinion might actually be known to be an incorrect and harmful opinion. The UFC's decision here lies on firm ethical and firm legal ground. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced that the UFC is doing it because they generally give a crap, but because they are aware of how much trouble left wing activists and lobbies might cause them. They walk a fine line already on the cultural landscape with their product which is basically just a fairly safe form of gladiator spectacle, and so I think they want to be extra sensitive to the types of political interests that already find their sport to be morally questionable.
