MMA should definately eliminate round breaks as this does not fully allow a "fight" to take place. I put fight in quatations as I see this being the most over used word in MMA, most bouts are only competitions. Competitions that involve extended use of avoiding an actual fight. Now, I understand some practitioners develope skills in self defense styles, however Tae Kwon Do and forms similiar to it are always considered competitions. So call it what it is, but you rarely see a fight in the cage anymore. Only competitions in martial arts styles. I enjoy watching, but to fix the problem of backpeddling to a decision and avoiding a fight, as we often see happen in the UFC. Shrink the cage size, eliminate round breaks, or just call it a Martial Arts competition and not an Ultimate Fighting Championship. I been in at least one-hundred street fights and if any real fight goes past a minute, blood is shed, and that is the only result of a real fight!
