Yves Jabouin, Mike Easton Booked for UFC 174 Bantamweight Duel in Vancouver

A bantamweight duel between Yves Edwards and Mike Easton will take place at UFC 174, Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced Wednesday.

UFC 174 takes place June 14 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the evening’s main draw airs live on pay-per-view. A headliner has not yet been announced for the show.

Jabouin, 34, has lost two of his last three fights after posting a trio of wins from August 2011 to May 2012. “Tiger” last competed on Jan. 25, when he was knocked out by former World Extreme Cagefighting titlist Eddie Wineland at UFC on Fox 10. A 28-fight pro, the Canadian has earned 11 of his 19 wins by form of knockout and owns a 4-3 Octagon record.

Easton, meanwhile, has lost three straight fights after beginning his career a sterling 13-1. The 30-year-old “Hulk” was bested by Raphael Assuncao and Brad Pickett before suffering a unanimous decision loss to T.J. Dillashaw this past January at UFC Fight Night 35. The setback brought Easton’s promotional record to an even 3-3 after beginning his UFC run with wins over Byron Bloodworth, Jared Papazian and Ivan Menjivar.
