Francisco Rivera has suffered an injury and will be unable to meet Hugo Viana at UFC on Fox 7.

UFC officials announced the news Friday, revealing that Viana will now face Team Alpha Male standout T.J. Dillashaw at the April 20 event, which takes place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. The UFC on Fox 7 main card airs live on Fox’s flagship network and is headlined by a lightweight championship showdown between reigning king Benson Henderson and former Strikeforce titlist Gilbert Melendez.

Known as Hugo “Wolverine” in his native Brazil, Viana has yet to taste defeat as a professional. The “TUF: Brazil” alum made his official promotional debut last June, taking a split decision from fellow castmate John Teixeira da Conceicao at UFC 147 before earning a devastating first-round knockout over Reuben Duran on Dec. 15 at the “TUF 16” finale.

Dillashaw, meanwhile, returns to the Octagon fresh off a second-round drubbing of Issei Tamura at UFC 158. The victory marked the third straight win for the 27-year-old, who earned one-sided victories over Walel Watson and Vaughan Lee in his two in-cage appearances last year. Dillashaw has suffered just one setback in eight career outings, falling by knockout to John Dodson at the “TUF 14” finale in December 2011.
