When it comes to Saturday’s UFC 206 headliner and title fight, fellow fighters have a clear favorite.
In a pay-per-view main event at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, Max Holloway (16-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) fights former lightweight titleholder Anthony Pettis (19-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC). Originally, both fighters were eligible to win the interim featherweight title – but since Pettis failed to make weight, Holloway is the only one eligible for a belt.
Holloway is No. 2 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA featherweight rankings, and Pettis is No. 9. At the sports books, Holloway is a 2-1 favorite. And among fellow fighters, Holloway, who’s won nine straight, is just as much a favorite.
Check out the video above as fellow fighters give their predictions for the headliner.
